Pokemon GO “Steely Resolve” Event: Corviknight Arrives!

The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—finally debuts in Pokémon GO on January 21st during the Steely Resolve event! This addition significantly expands the game's Galar region Pokémon roster.

The arrival was initially hinted at in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, showcasing Rookidee and Corviknight before their official announcement. The wait is over, however, with the Steely Resolve event running from 10 am on January 21st to 8 pm on January 26th (local time).

This event offers a wealth of activities: a new Dual Destiny Special Research, updated Field Research tasks, and a paid ($5) Timed Research. Magnetic Lure Modules will attract desirable Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, and even Rookidee. Shadow Pokémon can also learn a new trick, forgetting Frustration with a Charged TM. Increased spawn rates for ten Pokémon, including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Carbink, add to the excitement.

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st – 26th):

• Bonuses: 4x Stardust from win rewards, increased daily battle sets (20 sets, 100 battles total), free battle-themed Timed Research (Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes), and varied Pokémon stats in GO Battle League rewards.
• Leagues: Master League, Great League, Ultra League, and Color Cup: Great League Edition will be active with 4x Stardust bonuses.
