Pokemon Go’s first Community Day of 2025 will feature Sprigaito

Pokémon Go's first Community Day of 2025 is set for January 5th, featuring the Grass Cat Pokémon, Sprigatito! From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Sprigatito will appear more frequently.

This Sprigatito Community Day presents a fantastic opportunity to add this Pokémon to your collection. Evolving Sprigatito into Floragato, and then into Meowscarada, during the event (or within five hours afterward) will teach it the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick, significantly boosting its combat potential.

Several bonuses enhance the Community Day experience: triple Stardust, double Candy for every catch, and doubled Candy XL chances for Trainers level 31 and above. Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event last three hours, while trades cost half the usual Stardust, with an extra Special Trade available.

For an added challenge, a $2 Special Research offers exclusive rewards, including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and increased Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research task extends the fun for a week post-Community Day, rewarding you with a Sprigatito featuring a Dual Destiny-themed background.
