Pokémon Sleep Development Transitioned to Pokémon Works
The Pokémon Company's subsidiary, Pokémon Works, will assume development and future updates of Pokémon Sleep from Select Button. This change was announced via an in-app notification on the Japanese version of Pokémon Sleep. The global app's news section has yet to reflect this update.

Previously, Select Button and The Pokémon Company jointly managed Pokémon Sleep's development and operation. This shift to Pokémon Works marks a consolidation of responsibilities.
The specifics of how this transition will affect the global Pokémon Sleep experience remain unclear.

Pokémon Works, a newly established subsidiary, was formed by The Pokémon Company and Iruka Co., Ltd. Its representative director, Takuya Iwasaki, stated that the company aims to make Pokémon experiences more tangible and enjoyable for all. The company's past contributions include work on Pokémon HOME. Its proximity to ILCA, the studio behind Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, is noteworthy.
While Pokémon Works' past Pokémon-related projects are limited, their stated mission is to enhance the connection between players and Pokémon. The exact implementation of this vision within Pokémon Sleep is yet to be revealed.
