As you dive into the "Completely Normal" event, Niantic has announced the return of the Pokémon Go Harvest Festival. This week-long autumn celebration brings seasonal adventures and introduces two brand-new Pokémon to the game. From October 10th to 16th, you can catch, evolve, and enjoy a variety of harvest-themed rewards.
The Harvest Festival welcomes Dipplin and Hydrapple, expanding the Applin evolutionary line. Applin can evolve into Dipplin for 200 Applin Candy and 20 Syrupy Apples. Dipplin then evolves into Hydrapple after collecting 400 Applin Candy and catching seven Dragon-type Pokémon with Dipplin set as your Buddy.
Syrupy Apples are also appearing for the first time, dropping more often from PokéStops with active Mossy Lure Modules. Tapping these apples can reward you with Sweet, Tart, or Syrupy Apples, and may even trigger an encounter with Pokémon like Applin.
Event bonuses include double Candy for catches made with Pinap or Silver Pinap Berries, along with a higher chance of finding Shiny Pumpkaboo and Shiny Smoliv. Mossy Lure Modules will also attract more apples, giving you extra chances to evolve your Applin.

For trainers seeking additional rewards, a paid Timed Research is available for $4.99. This offers exclusive perks such as extended Mossy Lure duration, improved odds for Silver Pinap and Golden Razz Berries, encounters with Applin, plus items like three Mossy Lure Modules and 30 Silver Pinap Berries.
Field Research tasks and Collection Challenges will also be active during the event, featuring encounters with Pumpkaboo, Applin, and Smoliv. Completing catch- and evolution-themed Collection Challenges earns Mossy Lures, Stardust, Syrupy Apples, and Applin encounters to boost your harvest.
To round out the festivities, the Harvest Festival Ultra Ticket Box can be purchased for $4.99 from the Pokémon Go Web Store. It includes the event ticket and three bonus Silver Pinap Berries.
