Metal-Type Mass Outbreak Begins in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Pokémon fans anticipating summer events, including Pokémon Go travel activities and the upcoming Ultra Beasts debut in TCG Pocket, can also dive into this new Mass Outbreak focused on Metal types. The event highlights one of the roster's newest additions.

Indeed, Solgaleo takes center stage, alongside other Metal-type Pokémon appearing more frequently in Rare and Bonus selections. You’ll also be able to customize your newly acquired cards with extra flair.

Additionally, watch for special themed missions that reward shop tickets, usable for Wonder Picks or obtaining specific cards during the event. All mission details are available on your mission screen, offering plenty of opportunities to collect cards.

This is a great chance to acquire powerful Metal-type cards and recently released Solgaleo, which debuted in the Celestial Guardians expansion. While trading features still have limitations, Mass Outbreak events offer a solid alternative for securing the cards you want.

This push may also stem from TCG Pocket facing strong competition for players' attention this summer. The Yu-Gi-Oh!
