Rare Mount Recolors Coming to World of Warcraft

Two exclusive WoW mounts, the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and the Golden Ashes of Al'ar, are coming to World of Warcraft China on January 15th. These mounts are re-imagined versions of the incredibly rare Pureblood Fire Hawk and Ashes of Al'ar, respectively.

These new mounts are obtainable through separate promotions: the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk through a "Treasure Workshop" event, and the Golden Ashes of Al'ar from Landro's Loot Box (priced at approximately $27 USD). The loot box offers a chance at various prizes, including other rare mounts. Team-based purchasing offers bonus loot boxes.

The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk features auspicious clouds within its wings, a significant cultural symbol in China. The Golden Ashes of Al'ar, a gilded version of the original, includes a black saddle and flavor text referencing Kael'thas Sunstrider's famous quote: "The golden Al'ar, beloved pet of Kael'thas Sunstrider, proves that death is merely a setback."

While currently exclusive to China, the possibility of an international release remains open. For now, players outside of China can only appreciate these visually stunning mounts.
