Bluepoch Games' time-travel RPG, Reverse: 1999, is celebrating its first anniversary with a massive Version 1.9 update, dubbed "Vereinsamt" (German for "lonely"). This significant update offers a wealth of new content for players.
Claiming Semmelweis, a free 6-star character, is as simple as logging in during the event period. This generous offer also includes 30 free pulls.
A new 6-star DPS character, Lucy, joins the roster. Inspired by the classic Metropolis, Lucy, an Awakened arcanist connected to a Watt steam engine prototype, is available via the limited "Thoughts in Cylinder" banner. Returning characters include the 5-star Matilda and Kakania (summonable in the "Observation into the Mirrors" banner starting October 10th).
A first look at the anniversary content is available in the trailer below:

The update introduces "A Series of Dusks," a new rogue-like mode offering rewards including the 5-star character Lorelei. Collaborations with Discovery (providing new outfits for Tooth Fairy and Getian) and KOI (releasing limited-edition merchandise in October) are also planned.
Version 1.9 also marks the debut of the game's first unique garment for Regulus – the "Take Off! To the Future" outfit, featuring enhanced Ultimates and additional features. Further clothing updates are coming for Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto.
