Where To Find SGT. Winter in Fortnite Winterfest 2024

Mariah Carey has arrived in Fortnite, launching the 2024 Winterfest event! To complete the Wintervestigation Quests, you'll need to find SGT. Winter. Here's how:

SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6

The initial Wintervestigation Quest sends you to SGT. Winter. These quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and find new NPCs. The quest tracker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location—a snowy mountaintop near a plane crash site, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game concert location.

Talking to SGT. Winter

SGT. Winter is an NPC patrolling near the plane wreckage. He's marked with a speech bubble icon. Interact with him, then select the magnifying glass icon to begin the dialogue about his investigation. Completing this conversation awards 25,000 XP and a new mission leading you to Noir in Seaport City.

Surviving the Encounter

SGT. Winter's location is a popular drop zone. To increase your survival chances:

• Strategic Loot: Land early and grab nearby chests for a head start.
• Use Cover: The plane wreckage provides excellent cover.
• Early Engagement: Eliminate opponents quickly, many might only have pickaxes initially.
• Buy Items: Purchase items from SGT. Winter if you have enough gold bars; the Holo Twister Assault Rifle is a strong early-game weapon.
