The recently released "Silent Hill 2 - Immersion Trailer" on PlayStation's channel reveals that the Silent Hill 2 remake will enjoy at least a year of exclusivity on the PS5. The game launches October 8th on PS5 and PC. The trailer's closing moments explicitly state the game's PlayStation 5 console exclusivity, adding that it "will not be available on other formats until 10.08.2025."

With a PS6 release unlikely before then, this suggests a potential launch on Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch, amongst other platforms, after October 8th, 2025.
