The Return of The Sims 1 and The Sims 2

The biggest news? The original The Sims and The Sims 2, along with all their DLC, are back! Available for purchase on Steam and the EA store, either as a special Birthday Bundle or individually, these titles offer a nostalgic trip back to the beginning. This is a significant event for long-time fans, as these games haven't been readily available for purchase for almost a decade. EA has updated the games for compatibility with modern systems, eliminating a major hurdle for players.

In-Game Festivities: The Sims 4 and The Sims FreePlay

The Sims 4's "Blast From The Past" event introduces iconic items from earlier games, including retro furniture, clothing, and décor. Over four weeks, new items will be released, such as neon inflatable chairs, a three-tiered cake, a light-up dance floor, and even vintage wired phones.

The Sims FreePlay also joins the celebration with a Birthday Update. This update includes new Live Events ("The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island"), a new velour tracksuit, 25 days of daily gifts, and a Social Town museum showcasing the evolution of The Sims throughout the years.
