Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will be a major presence at the Tokyo Game Show 2024's General Exhibit, marking their first full participation in four years. The official website lists SIE among 731 exhibitors, occupying numerous booths across Halls 1-8. While Sony attended TGS 2023, their presence was limited to the indie game demo area. This year, they'll join industry giants like Capcom and Konami in the main exhibition.

Sony's exact plans remain undisclosed. A State of Play presentation in May showcased several 2024 releases, many of which will have launched by the time TGS rolls around. Furthermore, Sony's recent financial reports indicate no plans for major new franchise releases before April 2025.
