Squid Game: Unleashed set to receive new characters and events to celebrate season two of the show

Squid Game: Unleashed is celebrating Season Two with a massive content update! New characters, a new map, and exciting challenges await. Plus, exclusive rewards are up for grabs by watching the new episodes on Netflix!

Netflix's surprising decision to offer Squid Game: Unleashed free to all players, subscribers and non-subscribers alike, before the holidays, has paid off. Now, with this Season Two update, they're incentivizing viewers to watch by offering in-game rewards!

What's new for existing players? Starting January 3rd, a new map inspired by the Season Two mini-game "Mingle" launches. Playable avatars Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik, and rapper Thanos will also debut throughout January.

Geum-Ja and Thanos each have special in-game events on January 3rd and 9th respectively, allowing players to unlock them. Watching Squid Game Season Two unlocks additional in-game Cash and Wild Tokens. Watching up to seven episodes unlocks the exclusive Binni Binge-Watcher outfit!

Here's the January update schedule for Squid Game: Unleashed:

• January 3rd: New Mingle map and Geum-Ja character arrive. The Dalgona Mash Up Collection Event (until January 9th) challenges players to complete Mingle mini-games and collect Dalgona tins.
• January 9th: Thanos joins the game with his own recruitment event, "Thanos’ Red Light Challenge." Eliminate players with knives to unlock him (event runs until January 14th).
• January 16th: Yong-Sik, the final character in this update, makes his appearance.
