Star Wars Jedi Power Battles Premieres New Character

Aspyr's upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles for modern consoles features a surprising addition to the roster: Jar Jar Binks as a playable character. A new trailer showcases Jar Jar wielding a staff in action-packed gameplay.

This isn't the only new addition; Aspyr has unveiled nine other playable characters, with more to come, expanding on the original 2000 release's already diverse cast. The updated version includes features like customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support.

The trailer highlights Jar Jar's signature chaotic style and voice lines. While some fans might have envisioned a Darth Jar Jar-esque red lightsaber wielding character, the game depicts him using a staff.
