System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition Renamed System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, Also Coming to Nintendo Switch

Nightdive Studios' revamped version of the 1999 sci-fi horror RPG, initially titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, will now launch as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This updated edition is expanding its reach to include the Nintendo Switch.

The System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will soon be available on Windows PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The official synopsis:

The year is 2114. Awakening from cryo-sleep aboard the Von Braun starship, you find yourself amnesiac and in grave danger. Hybrid mutants and lethal robots stalk the ship's corridors, their chilling cries echoing through the vessel's cold metallic shell. SHODAN, a malevolent AI determined on humanity's annihilation, has seized control. Your mission: stop her. Nightdive Studios has confirmed that a release date and new trailer will debut during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
