HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This event merges the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city bordering the Gobi Desert.

Ballad of the Dunes: A Journey Through Time

This crossover event immerses players in a world of history, romance, and mystery, evoking the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card showcases Dunhuang's cultural elements, from celestial apsaras to intricate murals and the traditional pipa. The artistic style mirrors the ancient Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's rich artistic fusion during the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD).
Unique Card Stories: Each MR card—Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation"—offers a distinct narrative, enhanced by Private Messages detailing a thousand-year journey.

Rewards Await!

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A core challenge involves a cell-flipping game board. The grand prize? A choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive Celebration – Dunes Namecard.
