Updated on April 4, 2025: E.R.P.O. currently features only 4 monsters.
*E.R.P.O.* offers an array of terrifying monsters, but unlike other survival horror games like Pressure, you're not left defenseless. You have the ability to fight back with specific strategies and weapons, making even the toughest encounters manageable. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to tackle every monster in *E.R.P.O.* and ensure your survival.
New monsters are frequently added to *E.R.P.O.*, so bookmark this page for regular updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to survive each monster, along with general strategies for combat:
Melee Combat: You can purchase weapons like the Machete or Hammer from the shop, ranging from 10k to 20k cash. These will appear in your next level, ready for pickup with M1 and then used to swing at monsters. Be cautious with ranged monsters like the Huntsman. Employ a hit-and-run tactic to minimize damage, and always carry healing packs for melee engagements.
Explosives: Grenades and Mines are available in the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and then throw it or place it on the ground before moving away for a massive explosion that can kill weaker monsters and severely damage stronger ones. Mines require placement and a monster to step on them to detonate.
Monster Brawl: You can trick a Huntsman into shooting another monster by hiding behind it and making noise, either by walking or using Voice chat. Similarly, you can pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations to cause mutual damage.

The Robe, a large shadowy figure, will grab and damage you upon contact. To evade, crouch and hide or keep kiting it around. It can be killed with 2 Grenades or Mines if you lure it towards them. Avoid melee combat as Robe inflicts significant damage. It also teleports and speeds up when you look at its mask.

The Reaper, resembling a raggedy doll with sword arms, spins to damage you in melee. Like Robe, it can be kited or avoided, but it doesn't teleport. It's more vulnerable to melee attacks and can be killed with one grenade followed by a couple of hits. Grenades and mines also stun it.

These small, seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile until provoked by grabbing or damaging them. Once enraged, they fly and bite, dealing minimal damage but relentlessly pursuing you. Outrunning them or using melee weapons is your best strategy. Grenades are an overkill given their low HP.

The Huntsman, a blind man with a gun, can one-shot you. He detects you through sound, either from speaking near him in Voice chat mode or from fast footsteps. Crouch with C and hide under tables to remain undetected. Avoid melee combat due to his auto-aim capability. Instead, place a mine near his location or throw a grenade while crouched to stun him for 6 seconds, allowing a safe approach for melee attacks.
