World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 Introduces Height-Adjusting Potions

World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined," brings exciting new features, including consumable potions that subtly alter character height. These Noggenfogger Select elixirs offer a temporary customization option, stacking up to ten times for a cumulative effect. While not a full height slider, they provide a convenient and affordable way to fine-tune character appearance.

The patch also delivers significant story developments for "The War Within" and updated visuals for various classes. But the height-adjusting potions are a highlight for character customization enthusiasts.

Noggenfogger Select Potions: Subtle Height Adjustments

Noggenfogger Select UP and DOWN potions allow players to temporarily increase or decrease their character's height. The effects last for 30 minutes and persist through death, making them ideal for roleplaying, screenshots, or even during dungeons and raids. These potions, costing just over three gold each, are available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks, the main Steemwheedle reputation hub in the Undermine zone. Importantly, they are neither level-locked nor account-bound, allowing easy trading between characters.

The height alteration is subtle, even at maximum stacks (10). Screenshots from Wowhead demonstrate a difference of only a few inches compared to standard NPCs. This contrasts with the more dramatic size changes offered by items like the Elixir of Giant Growth or the original Noggenfogger Elixir.

Goblin-Exclusive Emote Potion

Alchemist Pestlezugg also offers Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-exclusive potion enabling the stylish "lean" emote, previously only available to NPCs. While similar emotes exist in the game files for other races, this potion provides Goblins with unique access.

A Temporary Solution to Height Customization

While many players welcome these potions, the desire for a permanent height slider remains. However, such a feature likely requires a major character customization overhaul. Until then, players can utilize the Seabed Leviathan's Citrine in their Cyrce's Circlets, play Colossus Warriors, or rely on Noggenfogger Select and similar items to achieve desired height variations.
