
Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, the Gen IX Poison/Normal-type Pokémon. This event runs until January 19th at 8 PM local time.
Key Features:
- New Pokémon Debut: Shroodle hatches from 12km Eggs, evolving into Grafaiai with 50 Shroodle Candy.
- Surprise Encounters: Snapshots offer a chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk.
- Shadow Pokémon Focus: Increased Team GO Rocket presence at PokéStops and in balloons. Charged TMs can remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon. A special research storyline allows players to rescue Shadow Palkia. New Shadow Pokémon encounters include Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby.
- Shadow Raids: One-star raids feature Shadow Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Totodile, and Ralts. Three-star raids include Shadow Electabuzz, Magmar, and Wobbuffet. Remote Raid Passes are usable for the first time in these raids.
- Event Bonuses: Field Research tasks award Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Collection Challenges and themed Showcases are also available.
- In-Game Shop: A 300-coin bundle includes an Incubator, Rocket Radar, and Premium Battle Pass.
Beyond Fashion Week:
The Corviknight line arrives January 21st, followed by a Shadow Raid Day and the Ralts Community Day on January 25th. This packed schedule offers plenty for Pokémon GO trainers to enjoy.
