Android users rejoice! Genshin Impact is finally adding controller support, arriving with Version 5.5 on March 26th, 2025. This long-awaited feature, already available on iOS since 2021, will allow for a more comfortable gaming experience. Supported controllers include the DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 (all Bluetooth-enabled).
Version 5.5 brings more than just controller support. Expect quality-of-life improvements such as cross-scene quest tracking, streamlining navigation by allowing players to teleport directly to quest locations via the map. Boss guides will also receive an update, providing clearer explanations of enemy mechanics for newer players. Further optimizations are planned for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system, with full details to be unveiled during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
