World of Warcraft players can still earn the coveted Detective title and pursue the elusive Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. This is thanks to the relocation of Alyx, the key NPC involved in the Guest Relations mystery questline.
Alyx, a Lightforged Draenei, has been moved to Dornogal, specifically to the hot springs area northwest of the Delver's Headquarters, near the Foundation Hall. Alyx, now titled "Volunteer Event Coordinator, Among Other Things," retains their crucial clue board detailing the locations of 11 missing Celebration Crates.
Obtaining the Detective Title:
Post-Anniversary Implications:
While the Detective title and Incognitro mount remain accessible, the remaining Guest Relations quests from the anniversary event are unavailable. This means achievements like "Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager," "I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats," and their associated transmog rewards are now unobtainable. The future availability of these specific rewards remains uncertain.
The relocation of Alyx ensures that players won't be permanently locked out of acquiring the Detective title and the unique Felcycle mount. This strategic move by Blizzard preserves a significant portion of the anniversary event's legacy for future players.
