Warframe's Old Peace Update Heads to Hell in June

Digital Extremes has just concluded one of its most atmospheric Warframe Devstreams, unveiling The Devil's Triad—a dark new side narrative arriving this December with The Old Peace update. This expansion is positioning itself as one of Warframe's most ambitious to date, weaving together new Protoframes, an enhanced relationship system, and a literal journey into the infernal.

Central to The Devil's Triad are three cursed Protoframes: Marie Leroux for Wisp, Father Lyon Allard for Harrow, and the newcomer Uriel, the Vice Regent Grand Carnus Roathe. Bound by the legacy of Albrecht Entrati, they are at the core of Warframe's first deep dive into emotional bonds, facilitated by a revamped romance and relationship system.

Their story plays out within The Descendia, a nightmarish, shifting tower with 21 labyrinthine floors that reconfigure each week. Every seventh floor culminates in a confrontation with a member of the Triad, presenting players with choices that influence both the story and their rewards.

The update also brings larger-than-life ultimate abilities via the Focus School Expansion, spearheaded by Unairu, alongside the new Honoria system for player titles and profile customization.

Meanwhile, the perpetually graceful Gyre Prime joins the arsenal with a dazzling new design, and Operators and Drifters receive a comprehensive visual remaster featuring next-generation graphics, updated models, and fresh customization options.

Digital Extremes is even extending its reach beyond the Origin System. A collaboration with Paizo delivers Operation: Orias, a Starfinder x Warframe tabletop adventure available now on Paizo's store. In real-world news, TennoCon 2026 has been officially scheduled for July 10th-11th in London, Ontario, with community events commencing in Australia early next year.
