Publisher Focus Entertainment and Developer Saber Interactive Joint Announcement

Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive announced on Focus’s official website on March 13, 2025, that development for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 has commenced. Deputy CEO of Focus Entertainment Publishing John Bert and Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch shared their insights on the franchise's current status and what fans can expect in the future.

Bert expressed excitement, stating, "Today, we are thrilled to announce that the adventure will continue with Space Marine 3. Players can look forward to an immersive campaign, a multiplayer mode, and innovations that will redefine the standards of third-person action games." He further added, "Developed in close collaboration with Games Workshop, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 will take the genre to new heights by introducing large-scale battles that are even more spectacular."

Karch elaborated, "We are now starting to develop Space Marine 3, a game that carries with it tremendous expectations from our rapidly expanding fanbase." He continued, "While we will continue to support and grow the Space Marine 2 universe over the coming years, we will take all our learnings and apply them to an even bigger and more spectacular game for the third installment. We view this as an opportunity to create a true love letter to the Warhammer 40,000 universe."

Although the announcement did not reveal specific details about Space Marine 3, it has certainly given fans something to anticipate.

Space Marine 2 Will Continue To Receive Support From The Developers

The announcement of Space Marine 3 comes as a surprise, given that Space Marine 2 was released just recently in September 2024. However, developers have assured fans that support for Space Marine 2 will continue for the foreseeable future.

Bert noted, "We have been honored by the incredible response from fans following the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. We will continue to support the game with exciting content and regular updates in the coming years."

Karch emphasized the importance of Space Marine 2 for Saber, saying, "Space Marine 2 has proven to be a transformative game for Saber. It is the culmination of everything we have learned about game development in our 25 years in the business."

Since its launch, Space Marine 2 has consistently received additional content, and the developers plan to continue enriching the game with an ambitious roadmap that extends until the end of 2025.
