Rinascita offers numerous intriguing puzzles, including the challenging Morph Paintings. These paintings are integral to two puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting restoration puzzles are relatively simple yet rewarding, providing valuable resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. This guide outlines the mechanics, locations, and solutions to these puzzles.
Restoring Morph Paintings involves placing the correct paintings onto their designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, identify the matching portrait, and use your Levitator utility to position the painting. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator, but if not, press Tab or D-Pad Left to manually equip it.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline, is located in Resounding Rise, one of the three towers in Thessaleo Falls. Solve it as follows (using the central painting as a reference):
Upon completion, a chest will appear, allowing you to progress.
This puzzle is part of the "Trials of Old" quest, requiring completion of four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in eastern Thessaleo Fells. The Trial of Wisdom contains the Morph Painting puzzle. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to create a narrative sequence from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
A simple way to verify correct placement is to check if the painting frame illuminates upon insertion. This shortcut bypasses the puzzle's core mechanic.
