Fans have the chance to vote for their favorite items from a list of 100 unique options, ranging from cult fashion to bizarre collectibles like traffic cones and golden underwear. RGG Studio promises to bring the top two voted items to market within the next two years, making this an exciting opportunity for fans to influence the franchise's merchandise line.

The voting is currently open on the official website, though the competition is only listed in Japanese. Among the more conventional items, such as a 20th anniversary hoodie and a themed pencil case, are some truly eccentric choices pulled straight from the game's wild universe. These include the cult outfit from Yakuza 0's The Order of Munan Chohept Onast, the traffic cone used by Majima in Yakuza Kiwami, and the flamboyant "Puffy Gold Pants."

Other notable items on the list are the sake enjoyed by Majima in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Akiyama's gold watch, Kiryu's fountain pen from Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Kashiwagi's tambourine from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Kiryu's wrestling mask from Yakuza 3, and Saejima's prisoner uniform from Yakuza 4. These items reflect the series' unique blend of drama, humor, and eccentricity.

In addition to the merchandise excitement, fans can look forward to a new game release in 2025. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is set to launch on February 21, ensuring that the 20th anniversary year will be filled with new adventures. While RGG Studio celebrated the 10th anniversary with the beloved prequel Yakuza 0, no similar announcement has been made for later in the year, though the studio's history suggests surprises may still be in store.
