Locating the Storm King

The Storm King doesn't appear until you've progressed through the Storm Chasers update's quests. These quests begin by talking to Kayden, who will reveal the location of the Storm Chaser base camp. From there, you must interact with a storm (indicated by purple vortices) to advance the questline.

The final two quests involve defeating Raven and powering the Tempest Gateway. After helping the Storm Chasers, Raven's hideout will appear on the map. This fight requires dodging dynamite and blocking melee attacks while using a crossbow.

Powering the Tempest Gateway requires at least 10 Eye of the Storm items. Some are obtained from Raven and upgrading the base camp; others are found in Storm Dungeons.

Defeating the Storm King

With the Tempest Gateway activated, you can confront the Storm King. Attack his glowing yellow weak points; he'll become more aggressive after each one is destroyed. Exploit his stunned state after each weak point destruction to inflict maximum damage.

The Storm King uses ranged and melee attacks. A glowing mouth indicates an impending laser; dodge left or right. He also summons meteors and throws rocks (their trajectories are predictable). If he raises both hands, he's about to slam the ground—move back to avoid the impact. A direct hit can quickly eliminate players.

Once all weak points are destroyed, the Storm King loses his armor, becoming vulnerable. Maintain your assault, watch his attacks, and you'll vanquish him.
