Radio Codes: Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Chrysler, Jeep, Mercedes, and more. Unlock your car radio or navigation system with the correct activation code. This code generator works with most car brands and calculates the code instantly. All you need is the serial number.
Finding Your Serial Number:
The serial number is located on a label on the side of your radio. You'll likely need to partially remove the audio unit to see it. Take a clear picture of the serial number, usually found near the barcode.

- Confirm your code entry. The confirmation button varies by model (e.g., 5, , >). For example, Ford 6000CD uses 5, Sony uses , and many VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat models use > (right arrow).
Troubleshooting SAFE/LOCKED/WAIT/ERROR Messages:
All radios have anti-theft protection. To prevent brute-force attacks, most radios will block after several incorrect attempts.
- Ford: If you see "WAIT," leave the radio powered on for 30 minutes. "LOCKED" or "LOCKED10" may require holding button 6 for ten seconds to regain attempts. "LOCKED13" indicates a semi-permanent block requiring dealer assistance.
- VW (Volkswagen): Three incorrect attempts result in a "SAFE" or "SAFE2" message. Leave the unit on for 60 minutes to retry.
