Bethesda to Announce Oblivion Remaster Tomorrow

After months of swirling rumors and tantalizing leaks, it appears that Bethesda is on the verge of officially unveiling the much-anticipated remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, and fans can catch the reveal live on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent tweet from Bethesda's official account, the teaser image prominently features a large "IV" and a background strikingly similar to iconic art from Oblivion, hinting strongly at what's to come. This follows a trail of breadcrumbs that started with a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which initially suggested an Oblivion remaster for fiscal year 2022. Although that window has long passed, the buzz around the project never died down.

More recently, in January of this year, further leaks emerged, describing the project as a comprehensive remake developed by Bethesda with assistance from Virtuos. These rumors gained additional credibility just last week when images purportedly from the remake surfaced on Virtuos' website.

If these latest leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Additionally, a Deluxe Edition is expected to be released, featuring the iconic horse armor alongside the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be a thrilling confirmation and more detailed insights into this highly awaited remake.
