Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Launches—From Life is Strange Creators

The renowned French studio Don't Nod, creators of the beloved Life is Strange series, have launched the initial chapter of their latest narrative-driven adventure. Fans can now immerse themselves in Tape 1, with Tape 2 set to be available for free to all who purchase the game on April 15.

First unveiled in 2023, this game weaves a compelling narrative centered around a group of close friends who were mysteriously separated during the summer of 1995. Fast forward 27 years, and the haunting echoes of that summer resurface, bringing with them unforeseen and chilling repercussions.

Drawing inspiration from iconic works such as It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the game skillfully intertwines elements of nostalgia with psychological thriller dynamics. The developers have opted to release the game in two distinct parts—Bloom and Rage. As of February 18, players can experience the first installment of this eerie tale.

The eagerly awaited second part, dubbed "The Tape," is scheduled for release on April 15. Initially planned for a March launch, the delay aims to deliver a more refined and polished experience to players.

With the review embargo now lifted, OpenCritic has reported an average critic score of 74/100, indicating a promising debut for this enthralling mystery.
