Ariana Grande joins the cast of Meet the Parents 4, starring alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in the comedy sequel.
The news comes via The Hollywood Reporter, confirming the pop superstar-turned-Wicked actress will appear in the upcoming installment. Universal Pictures has scheduled the Focker family reunion for November 25, 2026.

Stiller and De Niro reunite for their fourth on-screen clash as warring in-laws. Original cast members Blythe Danner and Teri Polo are expected to return, though negotiations are ongoing. While plot details remain mostly under wraps, sources reveal the story will focus on Polo and Stiller's son becoming engaged to "a strong-willed woman completely wrong for him" - a role reportedly played by Grande.
Franchise veteran John Hamburg returns to write and direct, with original trilogy director Jay Roach serving as producer. Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal will produce through Tribeca Productions, while Ben Stiller produces via Red Hour Films alongside John Lesher. Universal's Matt Reilly and Jacqueline Garell will oversee production.

While best known for her seven-album music career, Grande has been expanding her acting credentials. Her most recent musical release, 2024's Eternal Sunshine, preceded her acclaimed performance in Wicked. The Oz-inspired musical earned Grande an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Glinda. She'll reprise the role in the sequel Wicked: Part Two, releasing November 21, 2025.
