Assassin's Creed Shadows Updates:

  • Early Access Cancellation: The early access period for the Collector's Edition has been scrapped. The game will now launch simultaneously for all players on February 14, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Collector's Edition Price Reduction: The price of the Collector's Edition has been reduced from $280 to $230. It will still include the artbook, steelbook, figurine, and other previously announced items.
  • No Season Pass: Ubisoft has confirmed there will be no season pass for Assassin's Creed Shadows.
  • Potential Co-op Mode: Unconfirmed reports suggest Ubisoft Quebec is exploring the addition of a co-op mode featuring both antagonists, Naoe and Yasuke.

Insider Gaming reports that the cancellation of early access is due to challenges in maintaining historical accuracy and cultural representation, contributing to the delay of the game's release.
