Dodge Hazards in Fast-Paced Adventure:

A Kindling Forest: A Solo Developer's Clever Auto-Runner

Dennis Berndtsson, a high school teacher and solo game developer, presents his latest creation: A Kindling Forest. This isn't your average action-adventure; it's a side-scrolling auto-runner packed with innovative gameplay mechanics. Prepare for a thrilling journey filled with forests, arrows, and plenty of lava!

The Story: A Demonic Threat

An ancient demon unleashes chaos upon the world, prompting forest spirits to awaken a long-forgotten archer. Armed with a bow and arrow, the archer embarks on a perilous quest to vanquish the demon. But this isn't a simple task; A Kindling Forest presents a constant, exhilarating challenge.

Gameplay: Dodge or Destroy

The screen scrolls relentlessly, presenting a barrage of sharp, unpredictable obstacles. Players must skillfully navigate these hazards, choosing between evasive maneuvers and precise arrow shots. Arrows are your key to survival, representing the aid of the forest spirits. Run out, and the game is over, making every shot count.

Five Levels of Increasing Difficulty

A Kindling Forest features five increasingly challenging levels. Players will leap over spiders, teleport through ancient ruins, soar through the clouds, and even brave treacherous lava flows. Strategically placed checkpoints offer lifelines, allowing players to restart and refine their approach after setbacks.

Dual-Screen Controls and Precise Aiming

The game utilizes a split-screen control system: one half for jumping, the other for shooting. Precise timing is crucial. A slow-motion aiming feature provides the necessary window for accurate shots.
