Cyberpunk Card Battle: Mutants: Genesis

Following a two-year early access period on PC, Mutants: Genesis has now fully launched. The title is officially available on Android, iOS, and Steam. Developed by Celsius Online, it's an online card battler where your cards literally come alive.

What Kind of Game is Mutants: Genesis?

Mutants: Genesis immerses you in a futuristic world dominated by corporations and combat leagues. Your task is to construct decks and summon mutants, which materialize as animated creatures battling within holographic arenas.

You play as a Psycog, a strategic commander leading genetically engineered mutants in rapid-fire duels. As the new leader of the Panakeia team, your journey unfolds globally as you compete in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League.

Along the way, you'll encounter new Champions and unlock a wealth of cards, strategies, and gene-based abilities. So, while it's built on cards, the core experience revolves around adapting, strategizing, and evolving your tactics with every move.

Mutants: Genesis features over 200 cards, categorized into six distinct gene types. The Tech gene emphasizes machinery and precision, granting mutants abilities like Self-Repair and Dual Core for quick recovery and swift attacks.

In contrast, the Necro gene introduces a darker theme, weaponizing death itself. Its cards can return from defeat with increased power and utilize unique resources like Bones to strengthen your forces.

The Blades gene rewards sharp tactical plays, leveraging Orbs and condition-based powers to shift momentum. Zoo embodies pure chaos, with mutants that charge in, evolve rapidly, and unleash surprises as they ascend in rank.

Space brings a militaristic order, focusing on squad synergy and fortress-like defenses. Finally, the Mystic gene lets magic rule the battlefield, wielding powers like Burn and Stasis to control the fight's tempo while summoning mythical beings.

Mutants: Genesis Offers Substantial Content

PvE enthusiasts can team up with two other players to tackle massive boss fights or dive into Temporal Rifts for weekly challenges. Meanwhile, PvP competitors can climb through eight ranked tiers on a competitive ladder that resets monthly.

The game also features seasonal rewards, regular balance updates, and the opportunity to rise as a top Psycog. Activities from PvP victories to cooperative runs all contribute rewards, including new cards and crafting materials.

Mutants: Genesis is available for download on the Google Play Store. The game supports cross-platform play and is free-to-play.
