Lost Soul Aside, a single-player action game, is finally launching on May 30th for PlayStation 5 and PC after a decade-long development journey. Initially a solo project by Yang Bing, it's now a major Sony title under their "China Hero Project," with Bing leading the Shanghai-based studio Ultizero Games.

IGN recently interviewed Yang Bing, discussing the game's evolution from a solo developer's vision to a viral 2016 trailer and its eventual showcase at Sony's State of Play. The game has garnered significant hype, often described as a captivating blend of Final Fantasy aesthetics and Devil May Cry's dynamic combat system.

Through a translator, IGN explored the origins of Lost Soul Aside, its creative inspirations, the numerous challenges faced by the development team throughout the years, and much more.
