This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, provided valuable insights into the features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game. He detailed which of these features will be implemented and to what extent, giving the community a clear vision of what to expect.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting their zois. This feature, which was highlighted in summer announcements as highly convenient, will be further simplified to enhance the zoi creation process. Kjun emphasized the team's commitment to making this aspect of the game as user-friendly as possible.

For pet lovers, there's good news on the horizon. Players will eventually be able to have their own pets in the game, although this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience. Interestingly, Kjun himself is a big animal lover, which adds a personal touch to this eagerly awaited feature.

In terms of the game's environment, InZOI will feature tall buildings, with a maximum height of 30 floors. Although the game engine theoretically supports higher constructions, this limitation is set to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smooth gaming experience for all players.

Adding to the excitement, InZOI will include gas stations and combat scenarios. Kjun noted that the slap mechanic from early previews was felt to be too shallow by players. He listened to this feedback and has now incorporated full-fledged fights into the game, complete with winners and losers, enhancing the depth and engagement of the gameplay.

To welcome newcomers unfamiliar with the genre, InZOI will feature a comprehensive tutorial. This thoughtful addition demonstrates the developers' commitment to ensuring that all players, regardless of their experience level, can enjoy and navigate the game with ease. Such consideration certainly deserves praise.

As of now, Krafton is still on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. This timeline keeps the anticipation high among the community, as they look forward to diving into the world of InZOI and exploring its rich features.
